Re: toss up for a motor in my 54, need your help
hey guys. Had a couple high hp low weight cars. Had a 2200lb vw jetta over 500whp. Ran 11.2 1/4 spinning first on a 22"slick. 2.1 60". With the right slicks and the right engine mgmt car would have done mid 10's. Also had a vw rabbit with 300whp (1800lbs).
Dont get me wrong I like the vette, but for the money and the NAME I was expecting more. The most memorable american car experience friend had a 65 gto with a worked 455 big block. That think really impressed the hell out of me and left a 16yr lasting impression. Gotta take dads vette out and turn on the FUN button. |
