Re: lucy the 1950 shoptruck
I like the look of the front clip transition. Too many just scab it on the outside for 3-4" and box it straight back. May work engineering-wise but looks "weak". Yours is longer and cuts back at an angle, just looks nicer.

Re: lucy the 1950 shoptruck
thankyou. i like it ok but since i've done some more work and realize i'm going to build a new cab floor from scratch i may go back and cut off the factory mounts ands blend the frame in better then just rebuild some nicer looking mounts

Re: lucy the 1950 shoptruck
You mentioned you are only 23 and some people are impressed... Well, I am! Keep it up! Nice work! Too bad I don't live closer... The Camaro looks sweet and the truck, I'm sure, will look killer, too!

Re: lucy the 1950 shoptruck
well besides the horrible cold snowy weather in bama a little work. broke ground on the new shop, finished welding on frame and built some stuff for the camaro.
capped front frame to mach rear with 3 in tube blened front clip to frame a little smoother, just looks better to me and gas tank i fab'd up and some cool valve covers and performer intake for the 350 scavenged from bertha (74 3/4 ton) lucy play'n in the snow. dont think she likes it and the new shop layout
