Yes the shifter will clear the door I just have to figure out a way to make a shifter linkage. I am thinking a cable shift will have to be the wat to go.

The following might be of interest to you......

88 up power steering boxes bolt up with the use of an adaptor plate to the chassis and you need to lengthen the drag link by a couple of inches to suit. Its the most common power steering conversion here in Australia.

That burnout by the way is Danny Smiths from here in Australia.

I have decided that I want a center console in the truck so I am going to fiberglass the dash and concole.

that will look super nice im super lucky the way my dash is set up its already like made for rhd and my passenger fender well already had like cut out lines ffrom chevy

88 and up chevy truck steering box? this is the only thing holding me back i need a gear box can some one help with the gear box situation ive cleaned up my fire wall pulled heating off and am ready to pull steering column i want to use teh original one so what can u say about the gear box??

The one from the 88 up bolts to the inside of the frame. So when you use it, it will bolt to the outside of the frame on the passenger side alowing the steering column to be in line.

can we get pics of the brake booster and cylinder, ( the outer side of the firewall), and also your connecting to the power steering gear box and linkage

I now have a 79 stepper that is going to be needin a cab, so this will be picked back up in the near future.
