Re: What did you get done 11/22/2009 edition
Took all the spare parts out of the back of the x-cab. Including the headlieght bezels I picked up from Locab39 about 2 years ago.
Suspect I need to clean my truck out more often. maybe next year I'll vacuum it. Fired up my MIG for the first time in 15 years. Still works and gas in th bottle even! Bought some 3" stove pipe, going to make an oil vapor seperator for my 6.2. Gottta learn how to MIG first.....

I finished cleaning off the brackets and rivets from the stock rear suspension brackets and the crossmember behind the rear cab mounts. What a PIA.
Today and tomorrow I'll clean up the frame as well as the PO's C-notch, so I can be ready to roll and begin building my four-link after the Thanksgiving holiday weekend ends. Later, Jon D. |

I got my '78 LWB running and even driving. It now goes through all the gears, it was stuck with only 1st and reverse. Pretty syked about that. Now I have to figure out what I'm going to do with it.

Re: What did you get done 11/22/2009 edition
Old set of buddy-buckets I purchased in a pkg deal years ago that have been sitting in storage. I was going to use them in my 68 but since it's now on hiatus, I tried them in the 64 & it's like they were made for the space .
A buddy @ work is trying to get into doing upholstrey work/interiors (it's what his dad does for a living). So he gave mine a shot for the price of materials only. They're not show quality, but I didn't pay for show quality. I wanted functional-utility; that's what they are. Here's what he started with...
