Not my thread, but engine size is not the determining factor on what these vc's will fit. It is dependent on what heads you are running. It looks as if these vc's have a straight across bolt pattern, which is typical of almost all SBC's from early 60's to 1986 or so. The original 1955 265 SBC had bolt holes that are closer together than later VC's. I had a 57 Bel air and it still had staggered holes. Not sure of exact year that GM went to the vc's with holes sam top and bottom, though... Also keep in mind that there is no oil fill or PCV provision. You will need an early style intake with the oil filler in it if you run these vc's.

Shaft rubber looks great! if you want it add $10 to your total(that shaft is heavy!)
