Haha, not me! I think I'm about to go turn the air conditioner on!

I feel bad for you giys up in the U.P.I love snow, but you guys get alot more than I like.I go skiing up there every year at White Cap,and last year I was outside having a smoke,I took one step off the cabin's porch and I was up to my armpits in snow. One year we were up there and got 21'' of snow in one night

They don't use salt here, mag-chloride and sand. If they did I'd definitely have a winter beater!

I actually haven't had to drive my truck all week. My wife took her mom to the airport Sunday in her mom's car and has just been driving that all week, so I decided to drive the wife's car and leave my truck in the garage. It ended up getting a vacation at the right time!
However in years past it has done just fine in the extreme cold.

Re: Boy did it snow!

We ended up with like 2-3" sunday and then 17.5"+ Tuesday into wednesday with 30-60mph wind gusts all dang night and day. Then on Wednesday it was -20*F or colder out. Really nice. I couldn't go anywhere except on foot Wednesday until 8pm. The roads were't plowed so you had to plow your way to where you were going. Too bad our plow truck is sitting a drift and the skid loader is 7 miles away. Dam the luck. I will load up 2 pics from my drive to work on Thursday so you can get a feel for it.

Re: Boy did it snow!

here's what I got when I opened the shop door to get my buddy's F 250 plow truck outa the shop, there was a 8-12' drift within 1/4 mile of the shop either direction down the gravel, it sucked having to wait for the county to dig out the road

needless to say with 4' drifts about 12' from the shop door that plow didn't do much good

Re: Boy did it snow!

Yeah I know what you mean. A pick up and a plow only go so far if you can't get a good path started. It takes forever to keep pushing back piles of snow to get through and not get stuck.

Re: Boy did it snow!

I was out today driving to take a pic of a 71 or 72 C10 with a big block, tilt, and a/c, that is still rotting away. I saw all this great snow that still hasn't been moved and started taking pics for this thread. There were a few times I thought I was going to be in trouble due to the ice under the snow and all over the road and my low tread wider than stock tires.

Re: Boy did it snow!

And here is a fine ride........ Someone forgot where the road was.

Either some one doesn't like this guy, or they made a side and front exit, or the snow plow did it, IDK.
