Re: 292 (6 Cylinder) Engine/Split exhaust manifolds/complete exhaust

Once you remove it get me a price quote & shipping to TX 76133. That on the 292 4x4 crossmember.

I didn't know there was a difference in the crossmembers, but if shipping isn't a killer. I'll look into that issue later

Put me in line for those motor mount towers if you break them away from the whole motor and no one else takes them.

Thanks

From what I've heard this engine was bullet prove and when rebuilt correctly would be a torque monster.

Re: 292 (6 Cylinder) Engine/Split exhaust manifolds/complete exhaust

292farmer, the whole thing is still available. I'll part it out at the beginning of the year if no one takes it complete. We both know shipping will be outragous for those items you want. I'm about 1 hour from Springfield Ma, it's all highway to my house. Come and get it!!!

N2G, when I take pics of this crossmember you will have a good laugh!!! It actually has a SBC cross member already in it, but the passenger side tower was removed and the guy spot welded a special custom mount. So, I don't think you will want what I have.

Also, I stated I would part this engine out if it didn't sell by the end of the year. Now that I have it out and sitting on a my garage floor I can't bring myself to break this engine up and then be stuck with just a 292 block so I really want to sell it complete. I now have a nice engine hoist so somebody please come and pick this thing up, I can load it right onto your truck!

Re: 292 (6 Cylinder) Engine/Split exhaust manifolds/complete exhaust

I have been watchin this thread for a while. I found out that the 250 in my panel has the integral head. I would love to rebuild that thing and put in my truck. Its always the same problem no money or no time. Right now been laid off for over a year and no money, but I could try to make a road trip out there. I'm in detroit and its around 10 hrs and its gonna cost me $250 in gas. If this thing cant find a home I'll see if I can convince the wife to let me come up with the money for the ride. If your looking for anything car or motorcycle parts for trade I have a garage full of stuff. Just not much money. Just had to throw it out there. Thanks
