Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
you need to take really good care of that seat if you plan to keep it original...that plaid material is probably discontinued or very hard to come by...

Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
I got my wiring sorted out and hooked back up where it is supposed to go(I think). I built my spark plug wires and got them routed. I need to fix the threads on the intake where the carburetor mounts. I got the stupid mounts for the bucket seats that the PO installed out of the truck. I can install the pass side seat with some modifications to the original bracket but the drivers side is going to be a problem. I have other small projects before I try and get it running but it will be going before the new year.

Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
I put new headers on since the cheap ones blew out at the collector. Had to have the shop meet the exhuast up to the new headers. Like it now. They sit up in the frame more and don't hang down.

Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
Installed after market center console and finally got the rear cargo-door handle working. Also, got a couple more interior lights working. Being a daily driver, it's the little things that make it nice.

Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
Yup, I sure did. I got a new Sony Xplod Complete Car Audio setup. It comes with HU, 2 6x9's, 2 6.5's, remote, and a cable that plugs into the aux port on the front of the HU. I just got done installing the HU and the 6x9's. I need to strip my "Walmart special" Roadmaster box of it's guts and put the 6.5's into it and crank the volume after I hook it up.

Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
Decided to buy a 03 Wrangler to drive over the winter so I can tear into the truck a little this winter. Hopefully the Jeep will look like this soon.

Re: What did you get done 12/20/09
spend my lunch hour last week at the DMV to transfer over the vehicle title from my dad's name to mine. then I aired up the tires in the ole' '73 to prepare her for pavement. I plan on dragging her out of the pasture this week and really getting some progress going. I also cleaned out all the rat nests made of hood insulation, plug wires, and all the contents of the glovebox.
