The owners a friend, everytime we've been over (random visits) they've always had someone working on it.

Re: Project '67 GMC "AO" (All Original)
Got the piston ring end gap checked for all pistons tonight, everything checked out and the rings are ready to be installed on the pistons. Also ordered all the bearings tonight, so assembly should start soon!

Re: Project '67 GMC "AO" (All Original)
I love it bud!!!! I just finished rebuilding my 250 L6. But I did it with the engine still in the truck. So I havn't painted it yet. What did you have done to the head? I need to get mine cleaned up. Are you leaving it bone stock ..... adding power steering or power brakes?

Re: Project '67 GMC "AO" (All Original)
Bone stock. The machinist did a whole work up on the head, new valves and reconditioned all the old parts.

Re: Project '67 GMC "AO" (All Original)
If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost to have the head worked on? Parts and everything. Just need to know about what to expect. I know every shop will be different.
