Re: Putting her in storage for a year while I save for the rebuild... tips please

You will still need the fuel stabilizer and an oil change. Running the engine doesn't keep your fuel from deteriorating or the acid in your oil from causing damage to the internal metal parts.

Aww shucks... you don't have to... I know she is the bestest beast ever.
Wait til you see the rebuild... I am so excited I am considering taking her to the states and driving around to show her off to all of you kids.

A build thread huh? Could be a long time between posts I am afraid.
Maybe I should ship her over and rebuild her there where postage won't take so long. Maybe that isn't such a dumb idea.

Lara, Just went through a few pages of your album. I just have one thing to say.....Can we come live with you? Its gorgeous there. We won't take up much room. My boys are still pretty little. My wife snores a little so she might have to sleep out in the truck, but other than that you won't even know we're there.

Yes of course - the more the merrier. I am on a bit of dirt so plenty of room for all.
I do live in heaven huh? We have had rain lately and I was driving home on Tuesday thinking just how blessed I am and how I wouldn't live anywhere else.
