did the buckets come with the adjuster lever? they are made out of aluminum and break easily after awhle when i bought mine the lever was broken at the first rivet so, i got a 8 inch long 1/2inch thick round stock grinded it down drilled the holes and then i am going to get a metal ball for the end of it i havve pics in my build thread

Re: 67 step to fleet project
yeah it came with the lever and the bracket for the back of the cab. Do you have a pic of the bracket on yours? Where I am I have never seen a set in a truck and I have never seen a pic on here either.

Re: 67 step to fleet project
Got the front end lowered today. ECE drop spindles and one coil cut out of the spring. BIG difference from the stock height with HD springs haha. Also put a pic of the motor witht the carb and distributor in. Waitin on a set of vette manifolds and finned valve covers.

Re: 67 step to fleet project
haha I am amazed someone knows what it is, especially on a chevy truck forum haha. I've got moser axles on the way for it, I have the old ones pulled right now. the torque thrusts on the back are made for 1/2in studs and its only got 7/16 studs in it. A-body axles dont have enough meat on em for half inch studs. I would have left it alone, but back in the fall I almost lost a wheel goin down the interstate. I'm talkin every lug nut had backed off enough that I could take them off by finger.

Re: 67 step to fleet project
That's awesome you know about them too. When I take it to a show or even just ridin around, someone that was drivin when they made them will ask what it is and "whats that on the top?" They never believe me when I tell them it was original for the car. So, I always carry around a copy of the window sticker that reads "vinyl roof-floral" They usually just shake their head in disbelief.

Re: 67 step to fleet project
Since the last update I have rebuilt the rearend, rear brakes, lowered the back, converted to 5 lug, cut holes in the trailing arm xmember for the exhaust, and finally got my vette manifolds. Don't worry, that fuel line and water neck is just temporary haha. Drop in the back is from 5in springs and ece shock kit. Front drop is ece spindles and one round cut out.
