Re: Backhalf almost done

Yeah once you get shocks and burn everything in it should ride great and last a long time.

Re: Backhalf almost done

Progress is painfully slow but finally got some time this past weekend to mock up the front bag plates. I was going to be lazy and not post these but I know you guys love some pics. So here ya go.

Dumped

4" Ride Height

Nose bleed

Chopped spring pockets off and replaced with .25" plate. Still need to trim it down some more but you get the idea.

Re: Backhalf almost done

Appreciate it fellas. I went outside the box hoping to clean up the front and tie-in the look of the backhalf. The front looks like **** right now, but should look nice once I get it all painted. Next up is narrowing the a-arms an inch or so and frame horns will be 2x4 like the back.

I didnt like that for various reasons and decided to cut the control arms to flaten the BJ angle. That worked best and I re-z'd to what it is now.
do you have pics of the angled Z

Nice!!! I love the combo in the front...a little factory, a little dropmember. And like those lower bag plates.

Yup, they binded enough to keep the frame off the ground with a 3.5" Z. I tried a 4" Z to avoid doing this and it allowed the frame to lay by a hair. I decided to re-angle the BJ mounts and gp back to a 3.5" Z. Much better now. Pain in the ass to do, but I'm already narrowing the arms .75-1". That's what I'm in the middle of now. Need to get the track width narrowed so I can run a 3-4" ride height and still turn decent.

Re: Backhalf almost done

Hey man looks good! I have not been doing much to mine, just got out of the hospital again, (two strokes in a month!) I think they have it figured out now. put me on blood thinners. i can't drink, or smoke..... Damn, Then they told me to put my hobbies on the back burner, if i get cut I'll have to go to the E.R. But today I said screw it .... thats to much to ask of a guy, I'm 47 years old , not even gray or bald yet. I can just lay around and wait to die or..... I can help speed it along. hahaha, good thing I just got health insurance. so .... not taking the advice of the doctors, I worked on my truck today , just workin out a few bugs. then went for a nice drive in it, no plate but have insurance.I'll get the plate monday. Man that stroker can run and its very loud so that the neighbors can enjoy it to!! Keep up the good work. Eric
