I just changed my c20 to 1/2 ton, the 1/2 uppers won't fit, but you can leave the upper arms on the crew and just swap out the ball joints. I put a thread on here about what I did to make it work, here is the link:

I'm still in charleston right now. I'll be leaving later today. When I get home I can take some pics of it. What exactly do you want to see. It doesn't look much different than it does there besides the bed has been slid on the frame but the end of the frame still needs to be cut so it's sitting on ther unlevel. I haven't done much of anything to it. I just bought a bunch of parts for it. Lol

I may be selling the truck with a 350/350 combo in it. If I keep it it'll stay a 3/4 ton and get a 12v cummins. Thanks for the link though

Plans have a actually changed on this project. It's probably going to stay stock height or higher. I'm going to convert it into a dually and then I'm going to put some 19.5s on it with adapter and road tires. I'm also converting the front end to the 89-91 front end. It's also going to be getting a 12v Cummins and I might convert it to 4 wheel drive later on down the road

right well mine is a 1 ton shortbed crewcab dually that im building its setup to lay out the rockers with a 29 inch tire so that when i get the 22.5 alcoas milled then i can run a tire with atleast a 2.5 inch side wall. an as far as lifting a dually been there an done that i think its hard to make it look right with out some monster tires. also dually dont do very good off road, im sure alot of people may say different but i think a dually is best used for what it was intended for an that is to haul loads an people an thats what im going to do in mine. i had a 97 extended cab on 38' swampers
but either way ya got an awsome truck to work with seems pretty solid. my first couple cc where not solid at all. but finally got a good solid truck to work with

I agree. I definitely need to get myself a crew. Hard to come by in these parts right now. I had a guy that wanted to swap my shortie for a 76' K5 but, he is not looking for a project. Maybe if I would have taken so much off my truck I would think about it. Oh well, I guess that's how it goes some times

And I'm definitely going to be using it to haul. Hence the cummins. And about lifting it up I just want it to have this stance. Those are 19.5s I think but they're direct bolt not bread truck wheels

what do yall think this truck would be worth...it was a 350 TBI th400 originally....I have a 350/th350 combo to go in this truck with the TBI stuff to go with it...I also have the TBI dual gas tanks...I also have a body harness to hook up the power doors...I also have the headliner trim for the crewcab....it all needs to be put together...I have all the parts to put this back as a nice runner...I also have all the parts to make it a 1/2 ton also of someone wants that with the truck also...so what do yall think it's worth....I'm gonna be selling it here very shortly...
