Re: The New 4 Eyed Addition

I have a question, did GMC do the different interior color (not the same as the main truck color) or did Chevy also do this? This is the first time I have actually seen a different interior on what appears to be a fully stock vehicle (versus someone replanting the interior).

Thanks and nice find!!!!

Re: The New 4 Eyed Addition

One day this thing is sitting in some field (since 93') and the next it's over at Rene's - it's like Little Orphan Annie all over again -

Congrats and great find!

Yes, the painted front bumpers and grill are staying, the back bumper is chrome right now but, I have a lead on a painted one,so that will be cool, also I have some old silver painted guards that I think will look good, Thanks anyway.

What I can tell, the GMC is different "color wise", The interior is like a silver/pewter and brown combo. The seat is plain two tone brown, and I can't tell if stock or not, I found a petrified build sheet in the back of the seat, but its unreadable.

Thanks and nice find!!!!

That color is called "Fawn" and I've seen 67 Chevy's done the same way. Usually low option base models and in 67 only. IIRC Panel trucks were done the same way, the interior was painted the neutral Fawn color. I don't know why this was done, perhaps to expidite the production process?

BTW, want to sell the GMC dog dish hubcaps?

I love the truck.

Why does it has a radio delete inside and an antenna outside, i just thought it was kind of odd.

I like the red wheels, hub caps, and W walls you put on there. Also like the old caps too. I would really like some of the old dog dish caps.

I didn't realize the caps that are on it now don't cover the hole wheel. I like it!
