Is this like going to a car lot & the sales guy says "let me check w/the mgr..."?

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Not in this case. Some parts are only built/purchased in kits. If that was the case then the cost for the partial kit is going to be more than the complete kit; we have to do extra work to ship the modified kit to the correct customer. In this case I have these unassembled and can get Jeff the modified/different kit; Jeff will then need to babysit the kit thru the shipping process in order to prevent shipping a regular kit or having this different kit go to someone else. So it's not exactly that easy to do somthing special/different and the cost savings is not very much.

Here is a better way to explain it. You are on that car lot and your boss tells you to sell all the toyota's for $15,000 and out of nowhere one customer just needs the rear half of the car and salesman still wants to help customer but needs further guidance as he is not familiar with that territory.

It's tough to get my head and camera under there but here are some before pics with a 4" drop springs. If you can't tell the shocks are almost lying down.

With the new brackets the shocks sit much more upright.

In the ride department, I went from full compression to full extension over speed bumps and hitting pavement cracks on the freeway at speed. It actully feels like I have suspension now.

The key detail the relocators show is the pics is increased travel range.

Look @ the initial pic & you can see the upper/lower shock housings (1st pic). Just under the edge of the upper shock housing you can see a silver colored decal on the lower housing. Notice the distance is greater between w/the two w/the relocators installed (3rd pic)? Same shocks w/more travel.

Jeff,

Any reason you are no surrounding the lower shock hole with some metal on both sides for the bolt to pass through?

I think you you guys recently released a piece that fixes that issue for the front upper shock hole where it connects to the frame. One would think over time it would fail like the front upper on does.. Just food for thought.

Unlike the frame where the factory stud is atached in the front, this bracket is THICK. We made the part from 1/4" steel. We have not had any problems with stud bending the bracket.

CPP Rear Shock Relocators are great!
I've had them on my ride for two years and they still look new!
Highly recommended. Heavily constructed.

For this reason I was going to use a 60-66 stock lower shock set-up, but when I saw the construction of the cpp part, I didn't hesitate to use the cpp part.

Pic of 60-66 lower shock mount:

Yeah with the stock mounts you just cannot get the correct geometry on the shock. Great picture!
