Re: This is my Baby
Haven't been here for awhile. Summer is almost over up here in washington state. Had the top off all summer (about 3 months) and its almost time to put her inside for the winter. All you guys have been busy I see. Keep the pictures and interest coming.

Re: This is my Baby
CUrious; did you always intend to remoe the roof and make it a roadster pickup or did you do it because:
1. The roof was too far gone to repair? 2. Or you were going to chop the top and liked it once you saw the top off so you just left it? I think it looks great; just wondering (and nosy!) |

Nice convertible truck! When I was looking for my first running truck I was so close to buying a 37(IIRC) Dodge rat rod pickup, so close!

Re: This is my Baby
Thanks for all the comments. I have been enjoying the summer since it finally showed up. Took the 35 to GoodGuys in Puyallup and had a ball. Lots of nice rides. Still working on my 72 cab. Hope to have some pictures soon.

Re: This is my Baby
Summer is over for me because I decided to do a upgrade. As you can see its a major one. The IFS i'm taking out has gotten me down the road for about 10 years and always felt it was kinda weak. The new one is a HEIDTS Superide so it will be much better. I'll get back when I make some more progress.

Re: This is my Baby
This is what she looks like now. Was easy swap and is nice setup. It might ride a tad lower than before. I'll get the sheetmetal back on and that will tell the story
