Which one would you buy, for a shop truck?

hey....i have people that think i'm weird for putting money into practical modifications that don't detract from the original design of the truck (poly bushings, sway bars, factory option gages, etc).

what i mean is....what good is a work truck that bottoms out on every little bump and you don't even have a full depth bed for hauling stuff. sounds more like an extreme show truck project than a grocery getter or parts hauler to me.

real MEN drive real trucks. they don't succumb to crazy ideas trying to use outrageous rides for practical purposes. my 72 burb is dual purpose....looks good at the car shows (just about the way she originally came) AND she can haul lots of stuff, the family, camper, boat, or whatever else i need moved. the beauty of a classic truck is that it is most appreciated as a classic truck, not some radical frankenstein mobile. just put some mild lowering springs on and drive that rig if you need the lowered look......much cheaper, easier and more useful!

Why is it that I like that 58 so much? I mean it is my favorite color, but man there is something about that truck! My favorites have always been 68's, but I think I would rock the hell out of that one! My vote is buy all three, clean up and flip the two you don't want. I see complete junk seeling for twice those prices, and you have three resonably solid trucks there. Sounds like money in the bank!

For the actual shop truck I'd go with the 68 Chevy, it seems like it's ready to rock, however, I LOVE the look of that GMC.

Those look to be exceptional trucks for Canada??? Southwest US transplants??? If so, I would definitely buy them all and make some money like you said. Clean up the two you don't want, decent wheels, get them running well, and off to their new homes. From what I've seen, you can do this in a weekend or two

That 58 also has a small rear window, making it more desireable IMO.

Holy Crap Guys! I posted this in the morning and just got in from working in the shop tonite, i never expected to recieve such response. Honestly, They are not going anywhere, So I am not too worried that way, they are reaslonably rust free, especially for being from up here and sitting through our winters. To be honest, really amazingly clean. If I end up doing this, I have thought about it all day, I will buy all three, sell one for sure, either the 67 or 68, that 58 is way too nice. My reasons for a shop truck that is slammed and with the floor raised about 4 inches is to have something that no one up here has. After all, I do alot of work for other ppl, as you all know. And I need something that is BAD ARSE. My only problem right now is I know that I do not have time to get one running, But i could start collecting all the parts i need for it, After all, is is on the "cheap" side of things, I have a couple others that i have been collecting parts for also. Maybe I should just buy them and get one running and clean it up nice then flip it, fund some of my other ones. Now if someone had a chevelle they want to trade for the trhree of them. HEHE. Anyways, there is alot of thought iin this process right now, either way, I tink that i am gonna buy all three, in about 3 months. We will go from there. I also found 2 52 Chevs that are perfect patina, one white and surface rust and the other mutli paint with bullet holes. Could be had for nearly nothing, a 24 pack i think. Those would be flippers. I am way too busy. But alway time for one more. Thanks guys.
