lol yes, funny now, not so funny when it happened. ..although, it DID give me a good excuse to make the changes that I had wanted to do anyway, just wasn't planning on changing out the rads, AC condenser, fan shroud, coolant overflow, air box..

If the question is for me a suburban hit me on the driver side, ran me off the road where i clipped a telephone pole. bent the frame so i am just going to part it out.

A chick with a few drinks in her came around the corner and hit mine(parked) from behind,it went up the hood onto the roof......of her honda accord......cops said anybody in the pass side of her car would have been dead.i put red marks where the front tires were.the pics are bad it was late....disposable cam.....write off body mounts moved,rad support broke, the front clip shifted so much it broke the fender marker lights

Well it's not a Chevy, it's a '91 Dakota but yours reminded me of mine, except i was doing 85+ in a 45 when i was 16 and right before a turn in the road, on a rainy day, i happened to look in my rear view and there was someone riding my @ss at 85+mph and he was so close i was afraid to brake.

I tried to make the turn but i slid off the road and over corrected and went into the ditch on the opposite side of the road, i flipped several times and then hit a mailbox an a giant slap of concrete protecting the ditch tunnel or whatever under the driveway and i came to a rest upside down in someone's driveway. the pics are after a big police Chevy crew cab Silverado pulled me over with a winch.

I walked away with a bump on the head and a gash in my left pinkie finger from the windshield crushing on the steering wheel. The headrest saved my life i'm sure.

Crazy. But man these are some tough old dogs! Whenever I crash I try to play up a weight class... I hit a Fleetwood with my '77 Chevelle, I got hit by an S10 in my Triumph GT6 and when I wrecked my '77 C20, I hit a square body era box van.

I was going 60 coming down Upper Mountain Road heading to 104 (by Smokin' Joes) for all you Niagara area guys and a dude blew a stop sign... I hit him frame horn on the axle and folded the box of the van over. Bent frame, torn out body mounts, bent steering column (held on, no seatbelt... stupid kid)... It was a rust bucket so it went to the great squarebody graveyard in the sky.

But the bed did live on... On the back of my 1970 K30 (stay classy Niagara Falls!)

Awesome truck and tough as nails. If I'd been driving my Triumph in that wreck I wouldn't be around right now. That's why I love my square so much, I owe it one.

Glad to hear all of ya'll made it out and lived to tell about it. This thread reminds me of the time I got hit in my 1995 Nissan by a C30 Dually. I hurt like hell but I am just glad I did not take my 86 that day. I almost did. The good lord was lookin out for me.

I was in an intersection waiting to turn left, light turned yellow and the truck that I thought was stopping didn't stop. Drove it home, bought it back from the insurance, straightened the frame back out, and fixed the body damage. This was back in '06.

woke up to my roommate asking how drunk i was the night before because my truck was in the road!! woman driving the Denali couldn't handle a half an inch of snow on the road pitched it sideways somehow and t-boned my rear end!! still my daily driver, only thing i have not repaired is the dent in the back of my cab. funniest part is, i had to pull her out of my yard!!

A lot of these make me want to be the one in the square. The damage doesn't look past fixable on most of these.

T boned pulling out of gas station, long story. I wasnt at fault, the guy that hit me was also pulling out from gas station but flying around the corner etc etc. They totaled it. I bought it back.

Welded the trailing arm, board member sent me a track arm, and bought a carrier bearing, oh and a new bed.
