Re: Bucket Seat Help Needed (NOT BUDDY SEATS)

You can use the lower seat bun from any 73 /early eighties blazer bucket.even the high backs have the same lower seat bun.I have a junk yard local that any bucket is $15 I buy every blazer seat they get with good lower foam.remove the cover and remove the lower bun from the frame by unhooking the springs from the frame and swap out the springs and bun together. The piece that is bad on the upper foam you need to trim it back until you have a nice flat surface. Then cut that from the upper foam on your core seat and glue it in place.I can take pics of how to unhook springs if you need.I have to replace lower buns on a set of mine now to install covers I picked up at the autofair friday.

Re: Bucket Seat Help Needed (NOT BUDDY SEATS)

I would like to know how to unhook the springs. I got some bucket seats from a 75 blazer. The lower seat bun are torn. I could use the lower seat bun from a high back bucket seat

Kinda digging this one up from the dead I suppose, but I would love to see how to unhook the springs and remove the foam from a set of seats. Hope no one minds.
