Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
I thought all of those with that tread were 37's?

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
I'm not sure about the tread design Good Year may have changed it at some time these tires were bought in the late 90's.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
More than likely. They don't look like 37's anyway. I'd like to get some of those in 33's though.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
The rain has slowed done enough to get a couple new pics, The driver side rims have been cleaned up and the axle ends painted. The lower pass side trim has been removed and I am trying to save what I can. That's a water spot under the engine but I have found a major leak from the master cyld, new parts are going to hsvr to be ordered.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
Thats a very sharp truck you have!! I love it! I think it would look much better if you remove that window tint...aged tint turns that funny color and doesn't do much for looks.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
just a quick update, new carb and brake booster are in and working good. All but one piece of trim has been restored (repainted). It's time to start getting a game plan together for the interior along with a transfer case gasket kit to stop the last major leak. With the weather lately AC is moving up the list of projects quickly.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
where did you get your master cylinder and brake booster? Are you running stock drums on all 4? That is a great looking truck. Youve done more since posting this than i have in 3 years!

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
Thanks, I appreciate it! I wanted a truck, but needed to get something to haul the family... (easier to justify the toy - "hey honey - it's for the family!). But, I used father's day yesterday to lay the ground work for a truck... lol, but I think I have to now get in line behind my wife. Her turn next. But, love the GMC truck - looks good with the mags too... brings back memories of when I was a kid - my parent's '66 vette with those mags.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
That's the one problem with a reg cab, someone has to stay home. Not sure what part of so cal you in but my truck spent 30 + years in the Yuba City area.

Re: New project,71 GMC 3/4 4x4
A cali truck... that's a score out your way. Yuba is about 6-7 hours North of me, I'm in Ventura (60 minutes North of Los Angeles). Yup, wife, 8 year old, 9month old... - it does not take long to get the burb loaded with stuff for road trips.
