Hold on.....not good for painted surfaces and definately a NO-NO for uncoated aluminum. It will damage the finish. If your wheels are clear-coated you might get by.

I've used Bleach-White since the mid-Sixties. It's good stuff. But, use it like the label says and DON'T use it for anything they say not to use it on.

Spray it on a dry tire, and let it soak. Make sure the tires are not in the sunlight, or it will evaporate from the tire. Use a tire brush that you either dip in water, spray with water or spray with the Bleach-White. The dirt and crap will run off of the tire and onto the pavement. Then, hose it off and rinse well. After the tires are dry, put a protectant on them.

I just began using some Meguiar's Super Shine (or whatever it is called). I have the gel and the spray. It's hard to get the gel into the sidewall area of the tread on some tires, so the spray takes care of that task. I've used ArmorAll, Eagle and a number of others, but I like the Meguiars, the best. It lasts longer than the others.
