Re: Make my truck hook!!

super73 when you say lower the ICG does that mean lower the front of the trailing arm?
how do you correct the pinion angle when you move the trailing arm up and down, does the ride height change also?

Re: Make my truck hook!!

Yes moving the front hole up and down changes ICG.
When you move it ride height changes very very little..
You adjust for pinion angle by using a angle shim. I have not found one that is a direct fit for our trucks since we have a single U-bolt set up. I have taken one for a standard leafsprung vehicle and cut some of the front and rear out of it so it fit's between the U-bolt. It also can not come out as it's sort or locked in the U-bolt.

Re: Make my truck hook!!

Super73. CCP sells the deg shims for our u bolt rear end.
I raised the ICG 3" up like you talked about in one of your threads. How did the truck launch with it raised?

Re: Make my truck hook!!

It went from squating to having seperation. You can feel the rear raise up under load. Hooked pretty good I think.

Re: Make my truck hook!!

I'm now going to a porter built piece that has more adjustments and more than enough room for my 5" aluminum drive shaft.
And separation is kinda how the Mopar cars launch right?
