Re: Undecided "I so confused"

Ditch those tires and run redlines on your steel wheels. Then send me the slots and tires for giving you such a brilliant idea. What? Just because it wasn't a choice doesn't mean it wouldn't look good! . If you insist on keeping the slots, I say letters out. But I urge you to reconsider.

I'll try not to take offense to that!!! Skinny whites are totally for "Gramps", but there's somethin' about wide whites that just look cool.

Re: Undecided "I so confused"

I remember growing up in the 70s and 80s, it seemed like all of the hot rods had white letters out, at least where I lived. I guess that had a big influence on me, so I say white letters out. I also don't like large wheels with rubber band tires. JMO

I usually like the White Letters out, but on YOUR Truck with the Door Logo and slotted Mags, I'd say "White Letters In".
It looks "Too Busy" to me with them showing, but opinions are like a$$holes..............

Re: Undecided "I so confused"

I only like white letters out with rallies. Anything with aftermarket aluminum rums, especially polished) the blackwalls out look better. Rene, I say keep em like they are.

I'm not gonna make anyfriends by saying this, but, I don't like white wall tires on anything newer than 62 or 63. 1964 was the beginning of the musclecar era and wide whites were suddenly unfashionable. I personally wasn't around to witness it, but my dad said that almost overnight witewall tires just weren't available anymore in the mid-60's. I don't like it when somebody says their going old school with wide whites on something that never was even offered with them. Again, I'm sorry if I offend anyone, but, IMO whitewall tires on anything from the muscle-era just looks like socks on a rooster. -Rant over-

I vote for..................................................either except I am not a big fan of white walls. The way your truck is set up both BW or RWL would look just fine.

Re: Undecided "I so confused"

White letters in. With the black wall, they kinda look like cheater slicks, and that isn't a bad thing. Whenever I think about whitewalls or white lettering out, I see all the old guys around here that drive tan Crown Vics with their blinker on.
