Hello from Oshawa! Did Willy freeze to death this year or what??
You Wiarton people are probably sick of talking about a rodent. (for the unknowing Wiarton has a ground hog named Wiarton Willy and it is a big thing on Ground Hog Day. Don't Canadians call them wood chucks?)

Hey Snowbound
How old is your wife? I went to highschool in Kenora. It is a small world. My younger son is dating one of the daughters of a girl I went to school with in Kenora.

Alright - took me a few edits as I couldn't remember how to post a picture but I did it. This was last summer and we were sort of making like a farm truck and hauling a lot of grass off to the landfill. You can see the truck is pretty much basic and original.

Well Willie din't freeze to death...but he did die about 2 years ago like 3 days before the big event...everyone joked they just spray painted a rat white that year
So Over_My_Head? 920 on GMC's is a Canadian version of a C20 pickup? I always wanted to know what was behind the 920 badge... oh and thanks to all who replied! |

oldsub,
The wife turned the big 30 last fall, but she didn't go to high school there. She moved out here in about '85. Half her family is still there ( Favreau ). It's a beautiful place, but no work other than the mill. But if they ever find oil there......... Brian

The company I work for has a paint booth manufacturing facility in Barrie. It is called Blowtherm but that will be changing soon.

That truck looks pretty straight oldsub, is it still on the streets?
"So Over_My_Head? 920 on GMC's is a Canadian version of a C20 pickup? I always wanted to know what was behind the 920 badge..." Yup and a 910 would be a "1/2 ton GMC" Last edited by Gee_Emm; 02-17-2003 at 10:19 AM. |

Born and raised in Winnipeg.
Moved to London Ontario with my Dad. Moved to the armpit of Canada(Windsor,Ont.) and most recently reside in Essex,Ont.(but I'm working in Santa Barbara,California at present). My 71 Blazer is here with me. I'll be in Winnipeg in April for a wedding. If some-one wants me to bring anything back let me know. IT HAS TO BE ABLE TO FIT IN A MODERATE SIZED BOX AND CAN'T WIEGH OVER 60LBS AND MUST MEET THE RESTRICTIONS THE AIRLINES HAVE. Sorry for the disclaimer. I know what your going to say and no I can't fit a "rust free" 67-72 Chevy truck in a box
