Re: Sweet Chevy C10 Build
I'm currious -- with this arrangement it looks as though there will be a significant torsion on the mounting point of the bars mounting the upper bags. This level of fabrication is out of my league but just peering over the fence at it ... I wonder if it would be a good idea to use a complete hoop or at least less cantilever length so that there isn't so much torsion where the bars mount.
Now... I tend to think more in terms of trucks that will be driven on the road a lot. If it just ambles around at shows and such, my concerns are probably unwarented.

Re: Sweet Chevy C10 Build
I agree. Maybe you are planning to add it but you could benefit from another bar coming from the opposite side of the two you have.

Re: Sweet Chevy C10 Build
You wouldn't have to "intrude" into the bed floor as far, whether you were just making a hump over the bridge in the frame or raising the entire floor.

Re: Sweet Chevy C10 Build
there are a few squares rolling around in phoenix with this set up. I know at car shows its a big no no in judges eyes, but I have seen both of those squares rollin and they both seem just fine.
