You are right, that area does look like shoddy body work covering rust holes.
But after staring at that photo, it looks like the T-case is missing the torque bracket that mounts to the case and frame? I may be wrong, and I am unfamiliar with that T-case and year of truck. But on my 68 T-case there is a bracket, and on that one you can see what looks to me the mounting pad on it for such bracket.

If it were a K20, and a long bed I'd be interested...

I saw just under a half dozen red flags for me on that rig, but otherwise it is a sweet looking ride!

When I blow up the original picture its a reflection of 2 people sitting on the ground taking the pictures. That area shows up in another pic and doesn't have those two spots in them.

Beautiful body, just too tall for my taste.

Re: EBAY droooool

Anyone know where you can pick up those GM floor mats? - you could see part of the floor mats in one of the pics. That's a nice truck.

Those GM floor mats are from a 73-87 style pickup. I had a set of NOS GM ones in black just like those this past year, I traded them to a member here for a NOS Cruise Master switch. You can find them rarely on ebay though. Our originals are being repopped now, well atleast the Chevy bowtie ones. Never seen the GMC ones. Trevor

Re: EBAY droooool

I keep Southern Hot Rods site in my favorites. They have a lot of cool rides. Have bid a few times, but they usually keep going out of my range. That is one sweet truck. I think I could park Li'l Red under it.
