anyone put a 5speed behind a 230?

cwt- ya the clutch pedal and everything is working out really good so far. its nice having that hydraulic clutch! all i had to do was rotate the end where the rod connects to the clutch master cylinder.

Raycow- all i had to do was order that starter and it bolted right in and cranks nice and hard!

here are a few pics of some stripping i did today on it. not very good but for my first time i'm happy enough

Is that the 4 hole mini-starter we talked about? If yes, was your regular parts store able to get it, or did you have to order it online?

yes that is the mini starter you pointed me to. and none of my local parts stores carried it so i just ordered it online. the same link that you gave me i believe. so thanks for all the help Ray.
