Re: New Pool Function

He's the biggest out of only about five. One is a little smaller than him, and two are half his size. The fifth one is a tiny little critter...a perfectly formed frog, but two or three could sit on your thumbnail. Needless to say, the tadpoles numerous! This is a pic of the "island" and each black dot is a frog egg!

Re: New Pool Function

Well, I didn't get it finished, but made a little progress. Still have to do some painting, add a couple of sun shades, and a wire for some subtle lighting, but it's coming along.....
I had to do a test run Saturday night.....seemed to work pretty well.

Re: New Pool Function

Well, this is about it. I bought a used sail, tied some lines to a couple of adjacent trees, "rigged" the sail, and have been enjoying the shade. The whole thing is a little primitive, but my expectations weren't real high, so it works out pretty well.
Still have to plant some stuff in the window boxes, but that can wait until tomorrow. I have some serious kicking back to do!

Thank you. We spend far more time out there now then we ever did when it was a pool. Water temp is not a factor, and watching the "wild life" is a pleasant past-time. There was one frog though.........
(Check out the thread in the "General" section "I couldn't make this up..")
