Thanks! The show was at Best Buy next to Water Country USA on 199 in Williamsburg. I'll try and drive it the next time we meet up for dinner.

No big secret, LOL. The judges said they liked how everything flowed together, interior, colors, wheels, etc.

If you did make some to sell, I would buy a set. Will they fit on an 85 door?

Had my wife's birthday celebration and then drove San Antonio for a wedding shower. I'm hoping I can get the rear shockwaves installed this week and then begin the rear suspension finish welding next week...

I know its not the weekend but I just started a deal on a late 70's chevy that has been garaged ALL ITS LIFE. price is 1250 not going after it till mid July so I'll post pics when I go after it. Guy said he is going to hold it for us because he knows us and wants it to go to a good home.

Re: late edition what did you get done last weekend 6/27/2010 edition

Cleaned and Painted the frame of my 87 under the cab section which is the hardest section with the cab in place. Now I have from the front of the truck to the back of the cab done so I can start installing the new brake lines and front end. I looked like a big dirtball when I was done. I can get the rear section from the top as I have a dump box. I would still like to pull the cab at some point but that point is not now.

Late answer to the late edition
Spent most of the weekend with friends & family, had some family in from out of town and had my best friend's son's birthday. Took the day off work Monday for my anniversary. Monday night was the Patriot Guard ride for the service of Spc Andrew Looney, KIA 21 Jun in Afghanistan. Biggest one I've been to with the PGR, we had about 200 riders and roughly 20 cages. The city of Owasso turned out in impressive numbers to frame our run, which was followed by the family an hour later.

I was there for that. My wife did a facebook thing and got a looooooot of people out there for it. She was even on channel 6 for a short interview. I was very shocked at the turnout, was a big warm fuzzy that's for sure.

Re: late edition what did you get done last weekend 6/27/2010 edition

We staged at 76th St in the empty restaurant parking lot near QT. From there to the high school was 2.5 miles. After the first 1/2 mile, both sides of the street appeared as they do in the picture, many times even more so. I can tell you it's real hard to drive when your eyes are sweating. Please tell your wife thank you from the PGR, we do a lot of missions where we are the only presence. It lifts our spirits as well to see the public out like that.

Re: late edition what did you get done last weekend 6/27/2010 edition

I was out there to constantly heckle the Westboro wankers. I guess there is a reason they make the cops surround them, otherwise, they'd probably be dead in all seriousness. I was doing everything from Ron White to a pretty good Denny Crane (Boston Legal, google it!) and then a little bit of taunting and sign language. It was actually pretty funny how often the cops would all be turned away not looking. Then they had a police escort out of town. My wifes group was pretty much from the high school all the way down to the 6th grade center on 129th.
Didn't you love that flag the fire department had up? Makes you proud seeing it up on top of the ladder like that.
