"...it always seems funny when someone on the west coast buys something from over here.....I'm always seeing trucks on the west coast I'd love to have....guess the grass is always greener......."

Good point! I have a '69 Chevelle SS396 for sale online and most every call I get is from the mid-west /east coast. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2686891

I think I was lucky to find this truck anywhere in this condition for the $5K asking price. I love "survivors" and that makes this truck even more special to me that it still looks this good. They're hard to find anywhere. I read somewhere that they only produced 169 '67's with the big-window option. I don't really know if that's an accurate figure though. I'd like to know how many were big-window CST's. Thanks for the nice comments.

Re: My '67 CST SWB Fleet Big-Window...finally!

Can you believe that we found a guy about three months ago "parting one out", A 1967 CST short fleet. When we heard about it, all that was left was a bare roller frame, A very decent bed and clean "BIG WINDOW CAB" with the title. We ended up bring it all home of course, but I had to ask him "Why" he parted it out? His answer, My nephew wanted the nice front clip. Aaaaaah!!!!

By the way, If you're still looking for black Ca. plates, I've had 6 67's, And 3 were Q at the beginning, 2 were V at the beginning and 1 was A at the end, Again nice truck and good luck.

Re: My '67 CST SWB Fleet Big-Window...finally!

The little truck arrived last night in LA. The semi was waiting for me when I pulled in this morning. Here's a few samples from the set of (Before) pictures I took today. Until today I didn't realize the truck would come with it's original
1967 North Carolina plates. Very Kool!

That's really cool it came with it's original tag. I'm kinda curious on the # of big window 67's too. Once again, that's a great looking survivor!
