Re: Dont know what to buy!

haha! Ya, at first I didnt like the tire combo I picked. Its starting to grow on me, I think once I drop it, it will be fine. Might swap out the front tire to the next size up. The rear tire is perfect though. The rear tire is like 28 1/2"s tall and the front is like 26 1/2"s tall..

Re: Dont know what to buy!

Truck looks good! I like a little more tire too, but once its on the ground it'll look awesome. If you have the money you might as well bag it. At least bag the front so you can raise it to get a jack under it. You might as well go as low as you can from the start cause you'll only want to go lower later!

Re: Dont know what to buy!

The air is muggy right now! haha

I was thinking about bagging it, But I would be going with the RideTech Stage 2 Kit if I was to bag it, However I would have to buy that almost piece by piece seeing its $6100 before shipping.. Thats actually the reason I started selling everything was to pay for the stage 2 kit. But now that everything is sold I dont know if I want to.

Depending on what Jeff @ CPP has to say I might drop it and save the rest of the money until I have some more. We'll see

Re: Dont know what to buy!

Yeah....thats the reason why mine is where it is, gonna try and build most of the back end myself. If I had the money, I'd buy front and rear dropmembers and be done by now!

Re: Dont know what to buy!

OK well, Im going to vegas at the end of this month so I wasnt able to buy my brake kit I wanted. However, I just ordered a mcgaughys drop kit (4.5/6) But will "adjust it" to about a 5/7 drop. I also ordered all the grille parts to swap out the bar grille thats on the truck now to a stock one. And a few other misc stuff ive been wanting. It said the drop kit will ship out tomorrow so hopefully it will be here by this upcoming weekend! Im excited! (Oh and the window will be fixed as well!)

Re: Dont know what to buy!

One question, why did you go with that kit opposed to the djm, or belltech kit The reason i ask is because the djm kit is almost 1/3 less then the kit you ordered.

Re: Dont know what to buy!

The kits that I saw that DJM had for cheap, didnt come with c-notches, the kits that they had that did come with C-Notches were more then the kit I bought. And belltech, thats a different story! 700+ for the kit. The one I ended up getting was 560 plus shipping.

Re: Dont know what to buy!

its too bad you already ordered the grill, i had a brand new oem grill that i ordered for my truck sitting at the shop, but im not using it, i would of given you a great price on. but its just the grill and the bars brand new you would still have to get the small trims that go on the side and the bowtie for the center.

Re: Dont know what to buy!

I will keep you in mind, I ordered a repro from classicparts.com, but it was on backorder. I couldnt wait for it so I bought another repro off ebay for 45$s shipped. Figured hey, its worth a shot its only 45$. But if the quality and fit is extremely terrible I will send you a PM to see if you still have it. Id much rather have an OEM one, is it the light gray one?
