Re: love at first sight?
Back in high school(88-91) I built what was probably the first Trazer.I picked up a rusty as hell '76 blazer.Pulled the body and put a '74 2wd cab on it.Shortened a stepside bed.
Have had another blazer and am on my 4th 73-91 Suburban now.

Re: love at first sight?
Love at first sight indeed I remember seeing my uncles rusted out yellow 74 4x4 burb outside his body shop when I was just alittle kid and all of his other blazers burbs and trucks . I remember alot of them being lifted skyhigh (or atleast to a 3-6 year old kid they seemed huge)

Re: love at first sight?
i was 18 barely knew how put gas or turn a wrench, and just went in debt on a 96 s-10 and months later one nite i passed a big boy toys car lot and and stopped to look at all the cool hot rods and 50s model cars and noticed a square body short wide sitten by the fence , it was locked so i couldnt get a close up of it, i kept driving by the place all week and finally stopped in one day and looked at a restored 87 short wide silverado, brown single stage paint job, nice redone factory tan interior with cd player, low mileage rebuilt 350 motor with headers and over drive trans with shift kit, 3/5 drop with 15x10 billets. i fell in love with it. and the salesman saw it in my eyes because he told me to drive it and if i liked it we could work something out. to make a long story short he let me trade in my s-10 and they paid it off, and financed this c-10 to me with zero down and low payments i could afford!!!!!!!!!!! i dont have any pic at all just memories, and i regret ever selling it

Re: love at first sight?
My dad used to own a original 57000 mile black 87 that he bought off the original owner at a garage sale for 2000, it was a mint with silverado package and if memory serves me correct grey interior, I used to sit out on the curb just to see him come around the corner from work, I loved that truck, but when he fell ill, it had to go to keep us supported. That truck is what got me hooked on this body style!
