Bumper is from LMC. Very nice. I ordered their bumper brackets as well and they weren't very nice, but with a little work i got it all together

WOW! Looks good,The 15x10s are sure going to make your truck can hardly wait to see the stance of your rig when you mount tires on,are you staying with your 33 12.50s and one question did you have a choice on the back spacing when you ordered your rims.I see BROTHERS sells a 15x10 ralley also on page 150 in their catalog.

I'm staying with the 33s for now, I have a rear leaf spring issue so when i buy new i may just go higher and 35s not sure yet.
I ordered what i thought was "off the shelf" 15x10s with 4.25 backspacing but then they said they had to make them. I think they told me 5.5 BS is the norm for 15x10 but that wouldn't have gotten me the look i was after.

Re: My 72 swb k10

On the wheels I test fitted the one side up front, 1/16" gap between the tie rod end and wheel. Didn't try the other side. Drop the truck off at the shop to get the wheels put on and the other side RUBS THE TIE ROD END

I'm currently lookin for some 1/16-1/8" wheel spacers

I need to get that vent hose on the axle fixed, thanks for reminding me!

Other than that i've just been drivin it everyday enjoyin the ice cold A/C

Re: My 72 swb k10

well, motor started knockin yesterday, by the time i got home from work (10 miles) lost some oil pressure and started bangin louder.......

Got home ate supper, walked back out to the garage to start goin over this mess, checked oil-ok. Went to pull belts off motor and realized i could move the crank pulley and balancer all over the place, I BROKE THE CRANK.

I can't understand how it still runs? I pulled balancer and can wiggle the crank snout all over, but i can't turn it. dang thing still runs

Pulled motor tonite, can't wait to pull the pan and check this thing out

Wish i had a cool story like i was jumpin ditches at 6000rpm when it happened, but nope just cruisin...

Re: My 72 swb k10

Hate to hear about your truck. I am still in the process of breaking in my crate motor I put in. The motor that I replaced was supposedly just rebuilt with 7,000 miles. Machine shop rates are so high to it was a better value to buy a crate motor.

Re: My 72 swb k10

Thats the sh!ts, let us know whats happening. I don't think the crank broke, you said it still was running, but maybe I'm wrong, I heard 400 sbc were notorious for this.Sorry to hear about it.

Re: My 72 swb k10

I don't know anything about this motor, as i just got the truck 2 months ago.

Going to pick up a used 350 crate motor this morning, supposedly only has 40,000mi. I can't spend the time to rebuild this 400 right now i need to get it back on the road quickly. Want to drive it to work Monday morning. I will rebuild the 400 eventually (with a tough crank)

I have a feeling its gonna be a long night
