Re: Update The Circuit Rider is......Finished NOT!

I do believe I have a set of stock front springs that you could have for the price of shipping. Never used, came with a front end rebuild kit I bought for my truck about a year ago. Just pay the favor forward.

That will work I think. Are your springs for a BB? Are the springs for a BB the same as for a small block?

Re: Update The Circuit Rider is......Finished NOT!

I'm not sure, and I'm not sure. Haha, I bought the whole kit off of another board member as he went a different direction with his project and it all came together in one big box. Springs are the only thing I didn't use as I lowered mine 3" in the front with a different set of springs. What's your zip code and I could try and get a shipping quote for you tomorrow if you still want them.

BB and SB springs are different. I got about 1 1/2" of lift when I installed the BB springs in my truck. The SB springs were pretty fatigued in mine though. The BB springs are definately stiffer.

Good luck with the last details. Everytime I set a deadline I'm working late into the night before to get my stuff done. I wish you luck!

Wow, nice ride. Great stance too. I like that the colors aren't the typical for our trucks.

I figured if those colors were good enough for the truck in 1970 they were good enough 40 years later.

Thanks...
I am starting to realize one never gets finished with these trucks. Whether its a Daily Driver or a restored truck...there will always be one more thing.

Re: Ok Sneak Pic included-Update The Circuit Rider is......Finished NOT!

70cstjr and I picked up the Circuit Rider at 10pm last night. It will need lots of fine fine tuning but at least she was on the road. At 55mph I was a little uncomfortable as it doesn;t drive like a Subie.

I will taker her back in Sept. for a two week peroid of adjustments. Curt didn't get the Kick Down switch in but that's ok but the AC and Turn Signals/Brakers now work.

It sounds like this...
