The kit was done by Detroit Speed and installed and tuned by Livernois.

Lol...I was single for a longtime and aviation has been very good to me! Also my wife lets me have my toys as long as it doesn't affect the budget! lol...btw you don't get everything at once either! Been wheeling an dealing cars and bikes for years I have always had a few at a time every since I was about 19 yrs old.

Here ya go Mrein! I have had old girl for 13 yrs! I built it from ground up so she popped my cherry! It looked like about 6 dogs lived in it and the hood was buckled dents all the way down both sides! All original sheetmetal is still on it and alot of labor and love!

Yes the non-hatch back was an 02 model C5Z06...I have an 08 C6Z06 currently in the very first pic. These are the only modern vehicles I have ever been happy with for drivers. I am just an oldschool muscle car guy at heart. My 68' swb fleetside I am building will be my daily driver everything else will sit and take a break! I have been wanting to do a 67-72 swb for a long time. There are some sweet ones on this forum!!!!!!!!

Racie - As promised, a couple pictures of my convertible. Every year they convince me to drive it in the local parade. The yellow one is the first car I every owned. I purchased it two weeks before I had my driver's license. After my truck box gets painted I'm gonna completely re-do it. Frame off.

Nice...very nice. It's cool to have your first car still too. I have my first one I just hope it isn't to far gone now after sitting in the country all these years at my parents. I plan on touching it one of these days with a stock look but modern up grades like an LS-3 heart and tranny! It was a 77 Z28!!!!!

Not my car but in the pics but my 77 was identical...they were pigs from the factory but were fun when dug in them a little with cam and exhaust mods!

I was thinking vortec 350, 200-4r tranny, and 3.73s in the rear for my 72 Chevelle. Using the online rpm calculators that combo should get me the same r's as I get now on the freeway with my stock, on-legged 2.73.

Oh and I want to get matching front turn signals. They have been mismatched since the day I bought the car in 1984.

Speaking of rear ends, my 71 Monte had that same one-legged 2.73. If I could keep the speed around 70 mph (illegal back then) I could get 23 mpg all day long. I was thinking that if I get the lock-up of a 200-4r I could get slightly better than 23 on the road and still roast the tires with the 3.73 gears.
