Re: What is your dream square??

1980 Chevy Sport 2wd short bed;full load with factory buckets,red/red,white interior survivor with under 10000 original miles .....as they say in the Corvette world ...it is only original once.
Second choice would be a 91 dually crewcab 2wd in red/red to tow the 80 around ...only year for the overdrive trans in a square body and you got the mark 5 454.

Re: What is your dream square??

Well, if we are talking about dreams. I've been kicking this around in my head for awhile. I've never done the swap, or studied the earlier gen. square's core support. But I've always liked the fenders of the late models because of the point at the front, and the bumpers because they are just smoother and more aesthetic--as opposed to the older ones which seem more utilitarian. But, then I like the earlier grilles. So I've always wondered what this would look like.

Of course, if possible (and anything is possible) the core support, bumper, hood, and fenders would all have to be modified.
I wish I had the ability of a few of the guys on here!

Ahh... Dreams.

Re: What is your dream square??

my dream square would be a full tube chassis, fiberglass body, strut front suspension, with an all aluminum 455 small block chevy, with a dry sump and all the other good stuff, fabricated 9 inch rear housing, with the weld racing magnum 2.0 drag wheels with the spindle front mount an the double beadlock rears.

dont wanna get too into the details.

Re: What is your dream square??

Mine is really simple. A crew cab dually 4x4 with a 6" lift, and new 6.0 w/OD and enough time to play with it.
