Re: Opinions wanted, to swap 305 out or not
Its no my dream motor but i put a 305 in my 74 and have been beating the hell out of the motor for about 5 years. it starts first try everytime. i put a .420 lift cam, edelbrock intake and 600cfm edelbrock on it. i have raced more time than i can remember and beat alot of those ricers and even the dodge magnum. that one felt good. but i can load that truck down with alot of weight and still moves effortlessly. i went into that motor doubting it all the way, but i truly was impressed. after a few extra goodies like the top end and headers on top of the rebuild kit only had about 400$ into the motor. and got decent gas mileage.
