Re: Gotta bad case of the "stares".

Arkansas is hot right now like that. I finally put a window unit in and let it run. Makes for more pleasant bucket time. Been staring at mine trying to figure out the 3D puzzle of new metal in rockers/inner and outer, a pillars, cab corners and kick panels and front pillars. Gets kinda smoky welding with the AC and no vent fan though. Stick with it and break it up, do a little at a time. It'll get done. Good luck.

Near Dallas, TX. Heat index (actual temp + humidity) was 112 yesterday. Today's high will be 101. Good news is it should only be 99 on Friday!

The wheels are Budnik Gassers. The truck is mine, but the wheels are photoshopped. The pic below is what I want the truck to look like when I'm done with it. I'm getting it close. Will post a build thread when I'm a little further along.

Re: Gotta bad case of the "stares".

that's a very cool truck Boyd, I'm in Surprise, AZ so I know how it is with the heat and all. I'm unemployed and have my truck sitting in the garage needing a little work before it gets painted. So I can't really afford what I need to get but I'm optimistic that things will get better. I did a brake job and replaced a window regulator for this old gal last week...6 hrs total. Couple of times the tools were so hot I couldn't hold them in my hands.

Normal to stare and contemplate your next move!!! Especially when there is no $ to make a move. Staring goes a long way. Between fishing tackle, auto parts and snowboards, I'm broke.!
