Most any competent paint supply shop could mix a flattening agent into clear coat or a single stage. The problem would be replicating the finish should you run out or need future repairs. Hot Rod Flatz comes pre-mixed.

Re: What did you get done 9/12/2010

Replaced my A/C blower motor, for the second time in less than a month!!

got it from AutoZone.. (Siemens Brand), New, and it started squealing on me, when I had the Air on. pulled the squirrel cage and the shaft was all wet,.. leaked out the grease... pulled it and exchanged for a new one..

They said they didn't carry 'Siemens" brand anymore... and now carry 'VDO'

We'll see how long this lasts..

Re: What did you get done 9/12/2010

Spent Saturday working on my deceased father-in-law's restored '67 RS 327 Camaro. It has not been started in a couple of years, and my MIL wanted to get it back on the road again. Got it started, got the lights working, and it passed inspection.

My wife and I closed on a house last week. It has a 960 sq. ft. pole barn to store my junk in, and a little over an acre of land. We spent the day Sunday getting started on a long list of things that have been ignored for a number of years.

Rolled out to the Midwest All Truck Nat's and hung out with about 20+ board members. Had a great weekend!

Re: What did you get done 9/12/2010

Finally got mine out of the garage. Took her for a few short drives to check everything out. . Still have to tinker around with the carbs, but she runs pretty good for about 20 mins of run time. No leaks (now),no blow-by, runs 180-200 in traffic, so I am happy. Need to clean up the engine bay, throw my hood back on this up coming weekend and get ready for cruising the coast.

Re: What did you get done 9/12/2010

I spent Saturday morning doing my usual daily driver clean up. Went to watch some College volleyball where my daughter used to play. It was good to see several of her old team mates have gone on to play at a collegiate level.

Saturday afternoon I finally got some garage time. I spent the rest of the evening working on my E3 install. Sunday was more of the same. I worked all day on the install as well.

Complete details here= e3 LevelPro + Big Red x4 ≈ 77 Air Square

Re: What did you get done 9/12/2010

Pulled the junk headers that the guy before me had put on, my truck had an air pump so they had plugs in the headers to pump air into them, and the passenger side one had one of the pipes cracked off at the collector. Pulled them, and all the old exhaust ran manifolds to y pipe and intermediate pipe, and pulled the power to the lockup convertor in the trans to find out the solenoid is bad. All good stuff.
