Is that Raptor Liner inside of your cab ? That's what I used and yours looks the same.

Re: Project: My Black Truck

Yes sir it is Raptor Liner, I like it because it does the job but doesn't have a super aggressive roughness to it. It is great stuff for the interior.

Re: Project: My Black Truck

A few new pics of my dash I cant say it came out perfect but it is a thousand times better then it was. It still needs a few more coats of paint.

I also got my new Hurst Mastershift shifter. The floor shifter conversion kit that the previous owner used looks like something made by a blind Amish blacksmith. I will take a picture of it soon, it is a must see!

Sorry for the crappy iphone pics

Re: Project: My Black Truck

It is a mounting plate and the shifter rods. There is a mounting plate and shifter rods from the last kit so Im pretty sure I can use it, might have to do some drilling on the mounting plate to line up the mounting holes. It just looks like crap quality. Not sure why Hurst discontinued the installation kit for our trucks and it is impossible to find one online.

Re: Project: My Black Truck

Just a little update it has been a while since my last. So the truck is down to the bare bones now but finally stuff is starting to make its way back on to the truck and not off of it.
The frame is painted and the engine has been fully cleaned and painted and the headers are on. Oh and the engine is finally back in and sitting on brand new poly mounts.
Here are some pics

Re: Project: My Black Truck

Truck looks killer! I'm interested in seeing how you like the poly motor mounts I heard some people say there is too much vibration from the engine and they swapped back to rubber bushings inside the clam shell.

Re: Project: My Black Truck

So I haven't updated in a while, I have gotten a bunch done. I basically replaced all the steering components, powder coated the control arms, installed all new bushings. Installed a new sway bar. Installed a new gas tank. Replaced the rear brake line that got cut, installed a new brake hose for the rear axle brake lines. Painted all the brake components and reinstalled them. Installed a new MSD starter. Installed a new Thorbecke Bros. transmission crossmember. I also installed a Hurst Mastershift. Im sure I forgot to mention something so here are the pictures.

Re: Project: My Black Truck

Quick update, Installed some Earls fittings and hose from my fuel tank to the hardline. Not much else happened, hopefully I get my core support sandblasted and painted over the next few days so I can get that installed. Oh I pulled out my radiator shroud so I could paint it and put in a new jeep fan. I look and see that the upper left hand corner is broken off. Does anyone have a broken shroud that would be willing to cut off the corner and send it to me?

Re: Project: My Black Truck

I guess you're past the point of no return as far as CA emissions go now! That's a lot of induction... 500cfm each?

Haha yeah I hate California and hope I wont be living here for very long after the truck is done, Yeah they are 500 a piece with a progressive linkage so it isn't a full on 1:1 ratio all the time.

Re: Project: My Black Truck

Installed my sweet radiator and custom fan shroud. It fits perfect and I was able to reuse the factory upper radiator bracket with a few modifications. I also ran my final set of fuel lines and PCV valve line. I HATE putting together Earls lines and fittings. Also installed an Earls fuel pressure gauge and an inline fuel filter.
