Re: Let the buidling begin
I wasn't inferring that you would haul junk with it. To quote dad "some trucks haul ****, and some haul ass. Some haul both, but not at the same time."
400 ft/lbs will be a great engine if you use it as a daily driver. Quite a respectable engine.

Re: Let the buidling begin
or 4.55 or 4.88, depending on where your power band is going to be.
Any way you go about it, a big power engine isn't going to get MPG's. The minor gains you get from products such as exhaust upgrades, cam upgrades and such make the truck sound great which in turn makes the driver plant the petal, and waste gas. Not saying that you are one of those people, but they are out there, and maybe they will read this and learn.

Re: Let the buidling begin
i understand you there. But not everyone has that logic of just cause its there don't mean you have to show it off. Really I hate them guys around here that say "I thought that muffler was supposed to get more MPG's". The only real response to them is "back out of WOT a little and it will work"
and wow, you have a working radio?? I have 3 trucks and not a single am/fm between them. Three wonderful 40 Channel CB's though.

Re: Let the buidling begin
If you wish to continue following along with my build, you can do so
Here http://www.fullsizechevy.com/showthr...buidling-begin or Here http://performancetrucks.net/forums/...d.php?t=471814 I will no longer be posting on this forum. I am a member of some 30 forums, and never once had anything negative said to me by an admin. I have been suspended twice from this forum and had my posts deleted for absolutely no reason. I have been accused of slander, prejudice slurs, trolling, and making service of denial threats, none of which have happened. The only thing I have done, is not allow a couple of cocky admins to walk all over me. If one of the admins wish to ban me again, more power to you, I don't care. As I said before, when I was accused of making a denial of service attack, I am a computer technician. No matter what you do, I can still return to this site and surf. This is not a threat, just mocking your pathetic attempt of control over me . Good bye |
