Nice Build. Other than the bags and the Z, are you running drop spindles to lower the front

Very nice work, but I didn't see any link to limit lateral movement of the rear axel. Did I miss it?

ya I am running drop spindles i bought on ebay... Although with small diameter wheel and tire setup and the large z and bags, (with the removal of the bump stops), they may not be necessary... i think the thing would still lay out with stock spindles in my case.. if i was to do it again I wouldnt z it as much and run spindles for sure.

With the giant width tabs and bushings oppose to hiem joints on my traingulated upper link there is now lateral movement possible. In addition each of the lower links have equivalent bushing setups both on the front x member and on the rear end...

I dont actually have a name.. I was painting some cell tower pieces for a company that were disguised as lamp posts and they brought us a color chip. Our local paint supplier did a prophet scan on the chip and custom created the color. I really liked it so I had more made and used it on both my motorcycle and truck... Id probably call it an olive green or something, and the off white color is simply called "buff"

What are you doing for driveshaft clearance? Is the cab floor modified for a driveshaft?

I wish I had a better picture.. I will try and take one soon. It is a two piece driveline with a slip joint and a carrier underneath the cab towards the back but pretty much hidden if you look from the bed opening. No cab modification necessary. the carrier is a stock style out of a parts truck that has been attached to a custom tube cross member that bolts between the frame rails. I hope this helps, let me know if you have anymore questions.

Re: layed out 67 swb project M.A.C.

You need to change your user name to "McBaddestasstruckever" or something modest like "McTruckoftheyear".

Seriously cool build, you have real talent.

Started the project beginning of January.. worked on it every extra minute I had between then and August when it made its maiden voyage.. since then its been worked on here and there. keep in mind I have a more than full time position running a body shop. But it kept me out of trouble for the most part these last several months. Also drained both me and my bank account lol. totally worth it with all these great comments though!

Thumbs up Re: layed out 67 swb project M.A.C.

Can you post up some specs for the wheels and tires you are running? They look perfect for this style of build.

The back half of my frame is air tight and is the air tank... I have a fitting welded in the inside of the frame rail behind the rear cross member i think some of the pictures in my thread show it
