Got another truck!!!!!

its been changed to half ton yeah the suspension stuff is easy just concerned about the strength of the frame from the draggin.oh and whats the pros and cons of engine driven compressors this one has what looks like a regular ac compressor runnin the bags

I noticed that before anything else. Someone must've bounced that truck off of the pavement a bunch.

The suspension can be gone through easily, but as far as getting what you paid for, i'd be pissed too. Are you thinking stock control arms and stuff? Or...?

Well i would like to get a set of strong arms but i will take the stock arms off my parts truck and put em on it for now. I gotta get some power steering hoses they are leaking like crazy.

This is why it's tough to buy an out of state vehicle unless you are prepared to just walk away when you see it. Pictures don't always show how bad things are....

its actually at the front of the bed so i think its ok just gotta mount it better its held in there with a tie down strap

Not as bad as I figured .... the A-arms are a bit scary though. The rest of the stuff looks like it'll clean up.

The cheapy tank in the bed .... that needs to be replaced as they usually don't have sufficient mounts to sustain a crash .... if ya had one.

Overall ... I'd say you did well & it'll clean up for ya.

That's to bad it is a cool looking truck.. It's defently savable, I would get some strong arms for it and like you said replace all the leaky hoses. Now when you're looking at buying a custom vehicle.. When you see a gas take rachet strapped down in the bed.. That should throw up a red flag right away.. Anyone that is to lazy to mount a gas tank or install a fuel cell is going to skimp on the the stuff to specially if you cannot see it..
