Re: 1970 suburban body and frame no engine or transmission

Tommy Havent we talked about this one before? or was that the four door truck I had.

Asking 800 OBO... I have pretty much all the glass except for front windshield I have replacmeent drop gate and lift gate with glass. (Its been awhile so I cant remember if I have drivers door glass or not.)

Title stgned by owner but not in my name... I've got extra front doors for another 200... but only if purchased with the suburban.

You should keep it, cut the top off, and call it ChopSubey!

Re: 1970 suburban body and frame no engine or transmission

BADSAM I guess I should but I wanted to put a 350/350 in it but I got rid of those boat anchors. Perhaps my 396/400 combo with a disc brake suspension from another sub I parted out.

I still need to get you the third door inner door panel off that part sub. perhaps at christmas....

Thomas,
Is the Sub still in Hearne or did you move it to Round Rock?
Kind of interested. Dont really need another project, but this could be real cool.
Thanks,
Chris

Chris,

It's still in Hearne. I had foot surgery about two weeks ago and have done nothing with it.

I"ll be bringing an SVO to Round ROck as soon as I can drive again and focus on selling off one or two of them.

Id like to keep the sub but just too many projects, something has to go.

Re: 1970 suburban body and frame no engine or transmission

On December 1st I'll be placing an order for rear glass seals. WHen I do this I'll end up keeping the suburban as I'll go ahead and install all door glass.

I'm going to install either a 350 or a 402 and make a tow rig out of it.

Just thought I'd give it one last try.

Thomas
