Always had good luck with any citrus based cleaners. My old job had some called Zone Defense, its an industrial solvent we used to remove all kinds of adhesives just spray it on and wait a few minutes and attack it with a plastic scraper. If you use razor blades you need to bend them a little so they have a slight arch, that way the corners of the blade won't dig in and scratch the glass.

after peeling tint use rubing alcohol and razor blade what i have used in the past worked perty good, good luck

I used to work in a glass shop doing auto glass, we always peeled it off, then wiped the glue off using Denatured alcohol. It worked like a charm!
