Well back at it. Returned from the deployment and got back to work on the project. Had to drag the parts cab from 9 months of growth.

Got the old wiring harness removed from the old cab and installed. Wiring harness was in good shape for its age. Cleaned it up fixed the engine harness and the headlight harness. I was dreading the wiring but I forgot how easy those 1967' year models were. Only one problem when wiring I forgot to get a good ground to the cab and had few problems getting test light to work in the cab but after trouble shooting it it ended up being a one wire fix. Also installed electric fuel pump under the cab. Went ahead and cleaned up the gas tank and reinstalled it in the cab and ran all the fuel lines. Still need to wire the fuel pump and electric fan.

Need to finish cleaning up the cab wiring and install the New Vintage Gauge direct fit dash unit I have setting on the work bench.

got the engine all wired up and could not help it had to dump some fuel in the carb and fire her up today. Turned her over a couple times and my older brother adjusted the timing and she fired up and sounded great. Got me excited and renewed the drive to finish the old project up.

ordered the pine bed kit and stained it golden oak and painted the new bed strips and can't wait to install it with my boys they are excited to work on the truck

Back at it again. Also enlisted some child labor and we got the New Vintage Gauge Cluster installed and I love the way it looks also made speedo hook up easy the 4l80e swap. one piece driveshaft ordered today thru Springfield clutch and driveline ended up being 55 3/8 inches long.

While I was waiting on my Mickey Thompson tires (275/60/15 x4) to be delivered from summit. I spent a few hours sanding and painting stock rally wheels today. Got them finished.Tires arrived, got them mounted and that is when I noticed the problem. I ordered derby center caps which arrived with the tires and they do not fit. Luckily I looked on other threads and found some adapter mounting clips so I should be able to use the derby caps. I really hope the adapter works out I like the look of derby caps on the 15x10 rallies.

Ordered adapter clips off Ebay for70 Dollars which seemed way to high but it was the only option that seemed tested.
