Definitely, Clint. I think this big block v6 weighs 700 or 800 lbs. Also the winch on the front and heavy bumper add another 150lbs.

It appears the steering box pitman arm pushes on the valve body which then pushes on the steering linkage. This way, the valve turns on hydraulic fluid to the hydraulic cylinder until the load on the valve is diminished. Same thing in the opposite direction. In other words, the cylinder is always answering the valve to reduce the load on the steering, which is ultimately felt or produced by turning the wheel. Seems safe since if there is no fluid or pressure it just works like manual steering.
