Oh, I almost forgot. I am going to put fast burn heads with a gm performance parts "hot cam" on the ramjet. That should be fun! There is a puddle now.

Finished repainting interior ( finished today)

Reinstall my new interior parts that I gutted out for repainting inside cab. Hope to have this done by end of week.

Reline brake shoes this spring, and repaint brake drums.

Remove oil pan, paint, and reseal.

Remove Tranny oil pan, paint, and reseal

Paint exhaust manifolds

I hope to finish all this by end of spring so I can drive my truck this year, instead of watching it collect dust in the garage.

Should funds allow...I want to do a 383 bottom end for my truck, along with a new cam and MAYBE some minor work to the heads. Add to that a set of coated headers, a little exhaust work, and some interior work, and I think that's it...

Here we go....

New motor, new tranny seals, cab supports , sport fleetside bumper, start colecting black interior pieces, recover bench, door panels, and visors in black (thanks ahead mom), strip off all the molding strips and start prep for new charcoal/silver paint, 150 shot of nitrous (maybe)

Not too bad of a list huh? lol

My plans are to install a Tremec 3550 5- speed manual to replace the trashed 3- speed saginaw manual.

I need to get the truck running again as soon as all this snow melts.

I got two of my most emergent things done already:
-new tires, BFG AT KO 35 x 12.5 x 16.5, what a difference!
-new tunes, an Alpine CD and speakers

Those two things just about burned up the wad of available funding. Next will be installing the new driving/fog lights I got for Christmas, then replacing the parking brake cable, new window regulators and weatherstripping, and attending to all the body rattle noises.

My plans are:
1. Get cab started. Replace rockers, floors, and cab support.
2. Get frame blasted and powder coated.
3. Get front and rear suspension put back together so the future wife won't kill me for taking up her spot in the garage with my "pile of truck parts".
4. If time allows, finish my 327. Just needs reassembled and new bearings.

If I get all that done this year I will be happy. With the wedding in June, it will be tough. Never know, I might even get the engine in and trans hooked up. I will be driving around the block sittin' on a milk crate!!

Talking

700R4 or 2004R, which ever I get my hands on first.
4.10 posi rear. I have the rear, just need to order gears and bearings.
New '00-'03 seat+console
Finish interior with speakers and minor carpet work.
Install new fanshroud
New bedwood
Another 1" drop in the rear.
New windshield
Door seals
Trailing arm bushings.
Rear sway bar from late model F-Body (that's all that the suspension lacks)
A/C is on hold for one more summer.

I should be done with most of the above in the next two months. Just in time for the Hot Rod Power Tour and our yearly cruise to Grandbury for the drive-in movie plus all the other cruises and shows scheduled.

1) Fit the correct P/S pump and pulleys currently sat in the garage
2) Tidy up engine bay, new hoses, tidy wiring etc
3) Pull out interior , repair one or two small holes in floor, repaint, fit new carpetand sound insulation, clean up under dash wiring.
4) Fit front speakers
5) Fab aluminium angle frame for top of bed and have tonneau cover made locally (Two scrounged lengths of aluminium in garage
6) Replace large ugly stainless roll over bar with more subtle light bar to take the four large chrome Hella spotlights in my attic
7) Apply a good dose of anti-rust wax to underbody and all cavities before next winter.
8) If I can find one in the UK fit front sway bar
9) Sand down bed wood and re-finish
10) Fit alarm of some kind

All subject to funds, time and the wifes approval! I have a 100 year old neglected house to finish renovating, a forge to get up and running and a garden to landscape.

The body going very soon to the shop

Paint will be applied at the same shop

Then onto getting her motor tuned, transmission, brakes and double check bolts

interior

adding door handles and little items

starting on stereo and smoothing out center console

......enter her in a car show

August is my due date for being drivable and somewhat presentable. hopefully.......who knows what else will change thought, these trucks are never done.

If everything goes well I'll be getting a motorcycle by the end of the month. With another mode of transportation I can start taking ol' blue apart and giving her a make over.

I guess it's my turn.

1) Get the hood and front fenders off (already unbolted and ready to carry off).
2) Remove rusted cab. (Interior already stripped).
3) Find rust free cab (still waiting on funds) to switch out.
4) De-rust and paint chassis.
5) Overhaul the inline 6 and paint.
6) Order front end sheet metal for Christmas.

That should be enough for this year.

FINSIH, haha thas bout it, i hope to have my truck done by the end of this year, if i don't have it done by summer it will be pretty close but then it will most likely slow down when football season rolls around, thats a tiring sport to have to practice everday after school.
