Re: 67-72 Chevy & GMC's at SEMA 2010

this was in dub area ,my friends truck ,
i walked sema for 2 days and i didnt get to accu air or i passed it,so much to see ,but not a lot of c10s ,me and my buddy called it camerofest sema ,everyone had a camero,i heard last year it was more ,but it was cool to see a bunch of cars wish i could of met people of the forum , but we had no chance since we went to sell a vehicle and dude was there to pick it up.
all these were outside which is free for anyone to see ,but like i said i did not get any c10s inside and we did not finish getting thru every hall in the convetion center , i think this will be an annual thing for me and my buds cool stuff and surprisingly accessible areas

Does he have a website? I would like to see some build-up pics of the truck. Also, is that the factory seat?

The build up is in Street Trucks and the seat is a 68 factory unit. The truck was built at Status in Rockwall Tx.

A few more of "Sexual Chocolate", the project truck from StreetTrucks magazine.
It's hard to believe this is the same truck, that they started with.
Cool "shaved" door panels.

I was going to do a purple truck with yellow on the side,.... J/K.

Actually I remembered the member, here on the board,... that use to own it.
It is still his "Profile" picture. And for some reason I couldn't access Status' website. (www.CreateRollingArt.com)

Keith wasn't that fella writing for a new mag or something? I forgot the name of it. He also had a yellow 41 International too didn't he? I haven't seen him on in a good while.

Yes the member's user name was jkalor68gmc.
I haven't seen him here in quite a while.
I'm glad Mitch Henderson saved it and turn it into this beautiful truck.

Re: 67-72 Chevy & GMC's at SEMA 2010

Truck came out pretty close to the rendering. Mitch gave me the run thru and what a cool truck it is. I thought I saw somewhere where it got the GM design award. If so that would make 2 in a row for Mitch and the crew.

Re: 67-72 Chevy & GMC's at SEMA 2010

i must say all of these trucks were very nice! I was at the show, my feet felt fine cause i had a scooter. anyway the black truck is on the cover of CCT. i bought the magazine on my way to the airport to read, and lo and behold it was there in person! I really like the front bumper treatment which is something i plan to do, but slightly different. The interior i didn't like, reminded me of austin powers or something, but it was done nicely. All 3 of the trucks were extremely nice, Great Show!
