Being DBW, you're going to be limited to 4l60e, 4l80e or maybe TH400 with the kick down switch mounted on the gas pedal. Everything else requires a kick down cable or TV cable which you would need to convert to a DBC throttle body to use. Or maybe even power glide, no experience there.

i guess a trans from a 2005 6cyl trailblazer is also no good?

It will not bolt up. The bellhousing is way different.

might be lucky...the guy i bought the motor from got in touch with me. He has a 4l60e (2wd) and a 4l80 (4wd) for $500 (for both)....crossing my fingers...

A usable 4x4 4l80e is worth $500 by itself. Are they both from an LS engine or an older model?
